BlackBerry Mobile Fusion is useful to simplify the management of smartphones and tablet computers running the BlackBerry operating system, Android from Google and Apple's IOS. ''The next generation of enterprise mobility solution from RIM will facilitate business and government customers in managing a variety of devices that exist today,''said Deputy Director, Enterprise Product Management and Marketing RIM Alan Panezic.
BlackBerry Mobile Fusion technology combines the BlackBerry Enterprise Server for BlackBerry devices with the management capabilities of mobile devices that use IOS and Android systems. Management is done through a web-based console.
The technology provides the necessary management capabilities of Information Technology department to oversee the use of mobile devices that are owned or private companies.
Fusion Mobile brings BlackBerry a BlackBerry Enterprise Server version 5.0.3 for BlackBerry smartphones, the new management capabilities for the BlackBerry Playbook tablet computers are built using the BlackBerry Enterprise Server technology and mobile device management for smartphones and tablet computers that run the Android operating system and IOS.
