The Pakistan government has denied a report in U.S. magazine that the president resign because of poor health.
"President Zardari in Dubai hospital for medical examination and inspection as planned. The reports in some parts of the media speculated about the activities of the president is a speculative, imaginary and untrue," said presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar, Wednesday (7 / 12).
A statement from the office of the prime minister said that President Zardari went to Dubai because of symptoms related conditions existing in the heart.
"After the initial medical test in Dubai, the doctor found himself in a stable condition. The President went to Dubai at the urging of his children," said a statement issued after a meeting between prime minister and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, son of President Zardari.
"The doctors have not determined whether the president's condition because of adverse reactions to drugs that he drank, or developments associated with pre-existing heart condition," the statement said.
It is said that the president will remain under observation and returned to resume normal function, as suggested by the doctors.
